“To ensure Petrobras’s continued satisfaction, the CIMC Raffles Asset Operation Management Center made full use of this period and actively worked with its ship managers, OOS International team, and contractors to review two of the thrusters of the OOS Tiradentes to ensure efficiency for its next operation,” CIMC said on Tuesday (04).
The OOS Tiradentes platform has been operating in Brazil for Petrobras for the past two years since its initial approval research and can accommodate 600 people on board.
OOS Tiradentes Was Not The Only Platform Whose Operations Were Suspended By Petrobras
The Prosafe vessels Safe Notos and Safe Eurus also had their activities suspended. In March, Petrobras demobilized the crew from both units, and the platforms were moved closer to the coast.
In early April of this year, Petrobras requested that Prosafe agree to suspend the contracts for a period of up to 120 days, during which no revenue was recognized, but all logistical services, fuel, and catering support would continue to be provided by Petrobras, and any days of suspension would be added to the firm period of the contract.
