The Cidade Campos dos Goytacazes Platform, from MODEC, is the second this year and there are still 7 more to start operations by 2019. Understand.

In addition to the P-74, which began production in April at the Búzios field in the Santos Basin, and the FPSO Cidade dos Goytacazes MODEC, the Business and Management Plan 2018-2022 foresees that seven more units will start operating in Brazil by 2019. The floating production, storage, and offloading unit, chartered to the company Modec, will have the capacity to produce 150 thousand barrels of oil and compress 5 million m³ of natural gas per day.

The conversion of the hull, as well as the integration of the modules manufactured in Asia, was carried out at the Cosco shipyard in the Chinese city of Dalian. The integration of the modules manufactured in Brazil and the final commissioning of the Unit were carried out at the Brasfels shipyard in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro. The Tartaruga Verde field is a reservoir located in the southern area of the Campos Basin, about 127km from the city of Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, in a water depth of approximately 1,000m and at a depth of 2,993m. All production from the field will be processed by the FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes.

FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes Data:

· Oil processing capacity: 150 thousand barrels/day;
· Gas treatment and compression capacity: 3.5 and 5 million m³/day, respectively;
· Water injection treatment capacity: 200 thousand barrels/day;
· Storage capacity: 1.6 million barrels of oil;
· Anchoring in water depth: 765m;
· Total length: 335m;
· Width: 58m;
· Height: 31m.

Due to the upcoming demand for Petrobras units, more state public competitions will likely arise; we advise that you start preparing from now. Soon we will be providing study materials specific for you to pass the exams. Would you like to send your resumes to MODEC? Find out how here.
