Oil Production And Storage On The FPSO Prosperity Should Be High And Aims To Contribute To The Valuation Of Technology In The Area, According To Planning Stages
Regarding the quantitative data of the project, it is expected that the FPSO Prosperity will be capable of producing around 220,000 barrels of oil per day, in addition to its gas treatment capacity, which should be able to handle a demand of 400 million cubic feet per day.
In terms of storage, according to the proposed project, the amount of crude oil barrels can reach 2 million, a considerable number for the company.
This is yet another milestone achieved by SBM and the result of a long-standing partnership.

The FPSO Prosperity from SBM Offshore, developed by Keppel Offshore & Marine, will be operated for up to two years in the Stabroek Block and, after that, the floating vessel will be transferred to ExxonMobil. Born in Singapore, the project is ambitious and meets the adjective used by the company to describe it: mega, something large and with potential. The official delivery is expected to occur by March 2023.
