Gerdau Launched a Qualification Program That Will Prepare 100 People with Disabilities. They Will Be Hired If They Stand Out
Gerdau is one of the largest companies in Brazil. The company is one of the largest steel producers on the continent and has just expanded its main entry program, Pertencer. In Minas Gerais, 100 spots will be offered in a large qualification course exclusively for people with disabilities. The project provides for the training of people with disabilities in the area of steelmaking processes, which will be conducted at the Ouro Branco plant.
Gerdau Launches Training Course with 100 Spots
The project has a partnership with Senai of the state of Minas Gerais, in addition to IEL. The plan is to form 4 classes of up to 25 people with disabilities. The project will not be short, lasting up to 10 months. This includes both theory and practice. If the participants stand out, they may be hired by the company. All of this depends on the availability of positions at Gerdau.
To participate in Gerdau’s program, it is necessary to be at least 18 years old. Additionally, you must have completed high school and reside in the municipality of Ouro Preto. When registering, it is also necessary to present the (CID – International Classification of Diseases). The person must be willing to participate in online and in-person training.
