Importance and Context of the Hiring
IBGE plays a central role in producing data that supports public policies, private investments, and strategic decisions in the country. The temporary hiring allows the agency to adapt to specific demands, such as new surveys or updating existing research.
This increase in staff is also related to the complexity and volume of information collected by the institute. In previous processes, such as in the Census, the need for extra labor was crucial to meet deadlines and maintain statistical quality.
And you? Do you think this temporary hiring is sufficient to meet the data demand in Brazil or does IBGE need to expand its permanent staff? Leave your opinion in the comments and join the debate.
