Occupational Safety Technician (Offshore)
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Collect the SOC (Safety Observation Card) and vessel suggestions and enter them in DOCMAP. Monitor deadlines for actions and closure of observations;
- Keep the original SOC filed and organized on board;
- Monitor the PPRA documents, Risk Maps, Confined Spaces Plan of the vessel;
- Monitor environmental assessments (PPRA, ergonomic analyses, etc.) carried out on board whenever necessary / requested;
- Carry out DDSMS (Safety, Environment and Health Dialogues);
- Periodically hold lectures and/or meetings addressing safety aspects;
- Elaborate and apply plan and procedures for maintenance, cleaning and custody of PPE's; etc…
Requirements
- Occupational Safety Technical Course with active registration;
- advanced english level
- Desirable offshore experience
