Offshore Safety Technician
Tasks Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Collect Safety Observation Cards (SOC) and suggestions from the vessel and enter them in DOCMAP. Monitor deadlines for actions and closure of observations;
- Keep original SOCs filed and organized onboard;
- Monitor PPRA documents, Risk Maps, and Confined Space Plan of the vessel;
- Assist with environmental assessments (PPRA, ergonomic analyses, etc.) conducted onboard whenever necessary/requested;
- Conduct Safety, Environmental, and Health Dialogues (DDSMS);
- Periodically deliver lectures and/or meetings addressing safety aspects;
- Develop and implement maintenance, cleaning, and storage plans and procedures for PPEs; etc…
Requirements
- Technical Course in Occupational Safety with active registration;
- Advanced level of English;
- Desired offshore experience;
