GWM officially presented the Wey 07, a luxury hybrid SUV that promises to shake up the Brazilian automotive market. The launch took place this month, and the model arrives at dealerships with a price of R$ 429 thousand.
Produced to compete directly with Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo, the car stands out for its refined design, top-notch comfort, and impressive performance.
The Wey 07 is the top of the line for the Chinese brand, aimed primarily at executives and families looking for sophistication without sacrificing hybrid technology.

Luxury and Comfort of Millionaire Cars
The GWM Wey 07 surprises by offering features that usually only appear in cars over R$ 1 million.
The SUV features six seats, four of which are individual, with electric adjustments, heating, ventilation, and even massage.
The front passenger seat reclines almost completely, while the second-row seats serve as true armchairs, enhancing the comfort for those who prefer to be driven.
Another highlight is the cooled and heated central console, with a capacity of 7 liters and a temperature control range from -6°C to 50°C.
There’s also a retractable table and premium leather upholstery, making the interior one of the most luxurious in its category.

Dimensions That Impose Presence on the Streets
With a length of 5.15 meters and a wheelbase of 3.05 meters, the Wey 07 is larger than SUVs like BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Volvo XC60. This generous size reflects in the interior space and visual impact.
The design is clean and sophisticated, featuring two-part headlights, 21-inch wheels, and flush door handles.
The rear boasts LED taillights connected by a continuous strip, underscoring elegance without excess.
The trunk is also versatile: it offers 239 liters with six seats or 1,040 liters with four, ideal for those alternating between trips and urban use.

Passenger-Focused Interior — and Silence
The second row is the standout feature of the Wey 07. The comfort is comparable to a living room on wheels. With a wheelbase of 3 meters, the space is ample, and the sound insulation is reinforced.
The seats with massage, ventilation, and heating functions elevate the experience to another level.
Even the third row, usually the most cramped in SUVs, provides comfort with exclusive air-conditioning outlets and adjustable space. The model’s proposal is clear: deliver luxury and well-being in all positions.
Latest Generation Hybrid Technology and Performance
In the driver’s seat, the GWM Wey 07 adopts a minimalist philosophy. The dashboard has almost no physical buttons — the ignition is activated automatically when sitting in the seat and pressing the brake.
The multimedia system is operated by a 14.6-inch screen, while the digital instrument panel has 12.3 inches and high definition.
Connectivity is complete, with wireless mirroring and GWM’s proprietary software. The premium sound system includes a built-in subwoofer, ensuring quality sound immersion.
Under the hood, the Wey 07 combines a 1.5 turbo engine with two electric motors, delivering 517 horsepower and 83.6 kgfm of torque.
The drive is all-wheel and the transmission is automated with four gears. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, and the electric range reaches 128 km according to Inmetro.
The 42.5 kWh batteries can be charged at up to 60 kW (DC) or 6.6 kW (AC).

Comfort with Stability and Safety
The independent suspension on all four wheels has been calibrated especially for the Brazilian market, offering a balance between comfort and stability.
The SUV is equipped with adaptive cruise control, collision warning with automatic braking, blind spot detection, and various driving assistants that elevate the level of safety.
These features make the GWM Wey 07 one of the most complete luxury hybrid cars in its category, blending sports performance and technical refinement.
A New Standard in the Luxury Segment
With a competitive price of R$ 429 thousand, the Wey 07 arrives as a bold and sophisticated option for those seeking a luxury hybrid car.
The proposal from GWM is clear: to offer a vehicle that delivers comfort, technology, and power of German brands, but with a touch of exclusivity and superior cost-benefit.
For many, the model symbolizes the advancement of the Chinese automotive industry, which has been gaining ground in the global premium market — now with full force in Brazil as well.
