The Syrian-Lebanese Hospital, one of the most renowned in Brazil, has opened registrations for a free course that could be the first step toward a promising career in one of the most essential sectors of the hospital environment.

The free course for Hospitality and Hospital Linen Assistant offered by the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital lasts for two months and is entirely in-person. There are only 32 spots available, making the registration process quite competitive.

Classes will take place at Rua Peixoto Gomide, 316, in Bela Vista, São Paulo, and are scheduled to occur between October 1 and December 3, 2024. There will be two class days per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2 PM to 6 PM.

Unique Opportunity for Training and Possible Hiring

This initiative is part of the social project “Embrace Your Neighborhood,” promoted by the Beneficent Society of Ladies of the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital of São Paulo.

In addition to receiving a completion certificate at the end of the course, participants will have the opportunity to be hired by the hospital itself, a possibility that certainly attracts even more interest in this training.

What Will You Learn? The Syllabus

During the course, participants will learn everything from cleaning techniques and procedures in the hospital environment to the importance of safety at work. The program includes:

Cleaning techniques and procedures in the hospital environment
Handling of cleaning and sharp equipment
Collection and disposal of hospital waste
Linen services
Work safety
Basic computer skills
Communication and development of professional posture

Criteria for Registration: What You Need to Participate

To secure your spot, you must meet some important criteria. The candidate must be at least 18 years old, have completed elementary school, and provide proof of education and Covid-19 vaccination with at least three doses.
