Applications Are Open Until April 24! Participants Will Receive a Monthly Grant of R$ 140 as Support During Training!
The Federal Institute of Southeast Minas Gerais (IF Sudeste MG), in collaboration with the City Hall of Cataguases, has opened applications for the Free Computer Operator Course, scheduled to start in May. This initiative is part of the Women’s Mil Program, aimed at promoting the economic autonomy of women in vulnerable situations through free technical training, according to the website Marcelo Lopes.
The course is targeted at women aged 16 and older, with special attention given to those who are served by social programs. The proposal aims to increase professional opportunities in the information technology sector, while also reinforcing the institutional commitment to gender equity and inclusion.
In-Person Classes and Monthly Incentive Grant
The course will be held in person at the Cataguases Campus of IF Sudeste MG, located on the third floor of Colégio Cataguases. Classes will take place from Monday to Friday, from 1 PM to 5:10 PM, with a total duration of approximately four months. The course load is 220 hours, divided between theoretical and practical content.

Application Period and Required Documents
Applications must be made in person from April 14 to April 24, 2025. Interested individuals should go to one of the following locations: CRAS Ana Costa Valentim (Leonardo neighborhood), CRAS José de Lima Monteiro (Sereno neighborhood), CRAS José Cipriano Fiel (Justino neighborhood), or the headquarters of the Unified Registry (Downtown Cataguases).
To finalize the application, it is mandatory to present an official photo ID, CPF, updated proof of residence, and banking information for the grant deposit.
