IFB Is Open for Enrollment in Its Selection Process for the Free Technical Course in Occupational Safety EAD. A Total of 90 Slots Are Available for This Course.
The Federal Institute of Brasília announced on Thursday (9) the opening of registrations for the free technical course in Occupational Safety EAD. In total, the institution has 90 available slots for the second semester of this year. The opportunities are divided into General Competition, Legal Affirmative Actions, and Institutional Affirmative Actions. The requirements for each group have been made available by IFB in the selection process notice.
Free Technical Course in Occupational Safety Is Offered in Several Cities
The Occupational Safety Technician Course EAD at IFB will be taught through the distance learning modality and will last for two and a half years. Throughout this period, those enrolled will study through the institution’s virtual learning environment and will attend a weekly in-person meeting.
The technical training focuses on preparing professionals to analyze work procedures and methods in companies. With the knowledge taught in the free technical course in Occupational Safety, students will be able to identify risk factors for accidents and work-related illnesses.

The enrollments for the Occupational Safety EAD course are completely free and can be made online, via the official IFB page. Interested parties must access the website, fill out an electronic form, and attach the required supporting documents set by the institution.
It’s important to remember that at the time of registration, candidates must specify the campus where they wish to take the course and the schedule.
New students will be selected through an electronic draw that will take place on July 27. The results of the free technical course in Occupational Safety EAD, with the names of the candidates, will be published on the official institution’s website on the 29th of the same month. Those selected for the first call will be able to confirm their enrollment between August 1 and 3.
On August 8, the institute will receive registrations for the waiting list. Therefore, those not selected can compete for one of the slots. The estimate is that classes for the free technical course in Occupational Safety EAD will begin on September 12 of this year.
IFB Plans to Fill 1,900 Slots
The Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB) aims to fill 1,900 slots in free courses in the Federal District, encompassing various fields of knowledge. There are opportunities for both technical and higher education, available in both in-person and EAD formats.
In the in-person format, the institution offers skills in Administration, Civil Construction, Audio and Video Production, Logistics, Systems Development, Clothing, Secretarial, among others.
For the EAD modality, there are technical courses in Occupational Safety and Events. For the higher education courses, IFB will consider the scores from the National High School Examination (Enem) in 2017 and 2021.
