On Thursday, (08/10), President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva brought exciting news for the State of Rio de Janeiro: the resumption of ship production is close, and Petrobras will be the driver of this new era for the local shipbuilding industry. During an event in the state capital, alongside Governor Cláudio Castro and Mayor Eduardo Paes, Lula emphasized that Rio will return to being a shipbuilding hub, thanks to Petrobras’ upcoming investment plan.

The collaboration between Transpetro and Petrobras is gaining momentum with ongoing discussions to determine the type and quantity of ships that will be included in the bids.
