The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul (IFMS) has opened registrations for free lato sensu postgraduate courses, with classes scheduled to start in the second semester of this year. Registrations and Deadlines
Registrations are now open and must be made on the Candidate Page of the IFMS Selection Center. For the distance learning course in Humanities and Language Teaching, the registration deadline is July 16. For the in-person courses, registration ends on July 21.

Available Courses and Spots Offered at IFMS
Of the 200 total spots, 120 are allocated to the course of Teaching for Professional, Scientific, and Technological Education. In-person classes will be offered at the units in Aquidauana, Campo Grande, and Naviraí, with 40 spots for each municipality.
To enroll, candidates must have a higher education diploma recognized by the MEC, in any field of study. The course duration is 12 to 18 months, with half of the spots reserved for IFMS staff.
Specialization in Computer Science and Humanities
For those seeking specialization in Computer Science Applied to Education, 40 spots are available at the Corumbá campus. Candidates must hold a higher education diploma in any field. This course, lasting 18 months, will be taught in person.
Meanwhile, the specialization in Humanities and Language Teaching also offers 40 spots in the distance learning modality. To participate, it is necessary to have a higher education diploma (Bachelor’s degree) in the fields of Humanities and Languages, such as History, Geography, Philosophy, Sociology, Literature, Pedagogy, and Arts.
