Macaé, The Oil Capital, Will Stand Out Even More With The Construction of The F-118 Railway, With Billion-Dollar Investments Planned

The city of Macaé in Rio de Janeiro, home to the Port of Açu, has significant national prominence and is considered the national capital of oil. However, the iron ore and agricultural products produced in this region also benefit the national economy, but still lack adequate and proportional outflow. Moreover, the project has been moving at a faster pace, with the visit of Macaé’s mayor, Welberth Rezende, to the Federal Senate in February. According to him, major ports worldwide can only achieve adequate logistics with the help of railways.
