New Investment In The Renewable Energy Market Includes This Time A Contract Between AES Brazil And Itaú Unibanco
On Wednesday (17), AES Brazil entered into an investment agreement with Itaú Unibanco, through which Itaú Unibanco will subscribe to new preferred shares of renewable energy to be issued by AES Brazil’s holding company, Guaimbê Solar Holding. Itaú Unibanco will become a shareholder of Guaimbê Holding and will hold a stake equivalent to 19.9% of its equity, through the subscription of a capital increase worth R$ 855 million.
