Registration open until February

Applications are now open for the selection process offering 24 places in four specialization courses with scholarship of R$ 1.100,00 per month.

Interested parties may register until the day February 15, 2025 to act as face-to-face or distance tutors within the scope of Open University of Brazil (UAB) Program, which is linked to Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) from the Ministry of Education (MEC).

The selection process offers opportunities in courses aimed at different areasas the Municipal Public Management, School management, Technology and Quality in Food Production, and Theories and Practices in Education.

Requirements for participation in each course

The Municipal Public Management course, for example, requires the candidate to have a degree in Applied Social Sciences and, at least, a completed or ongoing master's degree in these areas.

Already for the Course in Theories and Practices in Education, training is required in Pedagogy, with a master's degree or specialization in the area of Education.

For the course Technology and Quality in Food Production (TecQuali), candidates must have a degree in areas such as Nutrition, Food Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Technology, among others, and also have a master's or postgraduate degree.

No case of School management, the requirement is training in Humanities or Applied Social Sciences, with a master's degree in the same area.

Phases of the selection process

The selection process will be carried out in two phases, the first being a curriculum analysis eliminatory and qualifying round, followed by a second phase, consisting of interview.

Candidates will be called for an interview by Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG), and information about the dates and the list of those called will be available on the institution's website, as published in link to the Selection Processes Directorate.
