Jeep Avenger May Arrive in Brazil with 1.0 Turbo and 1.3 Turbo Versions from Stellantis
According to autoesporte, Jeep Avenger, a compact SUV that is already successful in Europe, is being studied for entry into the Brazilian market. With modern design and compact dimensions, it could become the new entry model for Jeep in the country. In this article, we will explore the details of the Avenger and how it compares to the popular Renegade. Additionally, we will discuss the engine options and what we can expect if the Avenger is launched in Brazil.
Dimensions and Design
The Jeep Avenger is a compact SUV designed in Italy and built in Poland based on the French CMP-2 platform. Its dimensions are ideal for the city, measuring 4.08 meters in length, 1.78 meters in width, 1.53 meters in height, and 2.56 meters in wheelbase. Compared to the Renegade, it is slightly smaller but offers a more generous trunk, with a minimum capacity of 380 liters.
The design of the Avenger is modern and minimalist. The cabin features an instrument and multimedia panel with large 10.25-inch digital screens. The two-tone finish and waterfall shape give personality to the interior. Furthermore, there are few physical buttons, providing an intuitive driving experience.

Engine Options
In Europe, the Avenger is available in three engine options: electric, hybrid (4xe), and combustion. In Brazil, the strategy is expected to be different. The model will be produced on the Bio-Hybrid platform, classified as a micro-hybrid. This means it will not use naturally aspirated combustion engines, only turbos.
The engines chosen for the Brazilian Avenger are the 1.0 turbo and the 1.3 turbo from Stellantis. The latter is also a full hybrid (e-DCT), similar to the one used in the Jeep Compass. This configuration could make the Avenger the first flex hybrid from Stellantis produced in Brazil.

Possible Obstacles
Despite the advantages of the Avenger, there are challenges to be overcome. The high cost of adapting production lines and constructing the model may indeed bring prices close to those of the Renegade. Additionally, importing the Avenger from Europe is not feasible due to additional costs and currency conversion.

However, another factor to consider is the limited availability in Europe, which does not yet include versions with automatic transmission or hybrid setup. But if the Avenger arrives in Brazil, it will be important to evaluate how these issues will be addressed to meet consumer expectations.
Therefore, the Jeep Avenger has the potential to capture the Brazilian market as a compact SUV modern and technological. Its attractive design, ideal dimensions, and engine options could make it an interesting choice for those seeking an urban vehicle with personality. We must wait for Stellantis’s decisions and hope that the Avenger is soon on the streets of Brazil.
