A Volkswagen continues to produce limited batches of the electric Kombi in Hanover, Germany. So far, only 10 have been delivered to European soil. Another topic to be discussed is the price that will be practiced in Brazil.
The VW Kombi starts at 65 euros in the Old Continent, which in direct conversion, without fees and taxes, would cost just over R$ 365. In the UK, there are three variations of the model available: Life, Style and 1st Edition, the latter a little more expensive, with bigger wheels and a 12-inch entertainment screen.
In theory, everything indicates that the novelty should arrive in the country for a very salty price, and could even be the most expensive car of the company sold in the Brazilian market.
Volkswagen Electric Kombi has 201 horsepower
The ID Buzz model is 4.712 mm long, 1.938 mm high and 1.980 mm wide, in addition to being equipped with LED headlights and a heated windshield. In addition to the traditional five-seat model, Volkswagen plans to introduce a seven-seat variant this year. The first units will be sold with a single 5-horsepower electric motor mounted on the rear axle and three driving modes, namely Eco, Sport and Comfort.
By default, the vehicle will have a battery capacity of 77 kWh. According to the automaker, the estimated range of the VW Kombi per charge is approximately 400 km. Its luggage capacity is very large, it is 1121 liters by default or 2205 liters with the rear seats folded down.
VW may bring new, more powerful variants over the next year
The Volkswagen Kombi can be recharged using domestic electricity, up to 22 kW in an alternating current system and up to 170 kW in a direct current system, and also supports bidirectional charging, that is, the owner can use the car to power other electronics. . Throughout this year, the expectation is that new, more powerful variants and even with four-wheel drive will also be developed by the company.
One of them is the GTX, which, according to rumors, is an electric Kombi model with a 295-horsepower double engine. The ID Buzz is also compatible with remote software updating over the air, making it possible for the brand to update and improve the model's features without the owner having to take the model to an authorized store, and also has the automaker's Travel Assist assistance system.
