Highlight For The Most Innovative Corporations In Carbon Neutralization Credits (CBIOs) In The National Scenario.
São Paulo was filled with renewable energy on October 23, 2023. On this special day, during the 23rd International DATAGRO Conference on Sugar and Ethanol – a milestone in the sugar-energy sector – the debut of the “DATAGRO Green Excellency Awards” took place. This initiative recognized pioneering companies in emission efficiency for CBIOs. These credits are tangible representations of the tons of CO2 that are saved from the atmosphere during the phases of production, distribution, and use of biofuels, aligned with the RenovaBio program.
A Rigorous Methodology Defines The Winners
Based on precise technical criteria, the rating methodology of Benri Ratings was the foundation for determining the most proficient corporations in generating CBIOs. This translates to how many liters of biofuel are needed to produce a single CBIO. Those companies that managed to produce more CBIOs using fewer liters of biofuel were the ones that stood out. Among the 300 companies considered, only the certified ones were evaluated.
