Last Wednesday, (12/06), Livoltek, a member of the Hexing Group, announced the inauguration of the first solar inverter factory in Latin America, located in the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM). With a significant investment of R$ 70 million, the company plans to create more than 2600 direct and indirect job opportunities. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled for July 24, promising to bring together authorities, industry associations, integrators, the press, and influencers from the photovoltaic market.
New Livoltek Factory In Brazil
Production at the new facility is scheduled to start in the second half of 2024.
In addition to solar inverters, the investment in the Manaus Free Trade Zone includes the manufacture of lithium batteries and electric vehicle chargers, with production expected to begin at the end of 2024.

Initially, Livoltek will import chassis, chips, and other electronic components that are not manufactured in Brazil, while the Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) will be produced locally.
Brazilian Market And Export Strategy
The new Livoltek factory, covering 18,000 square meters, aims to serve not only the Brazilian market but also neighboring countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, and Peru.
In the long term, the company plans to expand its exports to Europe.
With this, Livoltek is considering offering inverters produced in Brazil at the same cost as imported ones, as the production stages are nationalized.
Liangzhang Zhou, chairman of the Hexing Group, highlighted the company’s long-term commitment to Brazil and, in particular, to Amazonas.
Zhou emphasized that Livoltek will rely only on the standard incentives from the Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa), without special treatments, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainable development and the generation of new jobs in the region.
Livoltek is a Chinese company with factories in Indonesia and Africa, and operations in Europe.
With the new facility in Manaus, the company aims to consolidate its presence in Latin America, contributing to the expansion of the solar energy market and the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy matrix.
