London South Bank University (LSBU) offers international merit scholarships, selecting students with outstanding academic performance to receive a discount of £2,000 on the cost of undergraduate studies.
Through the International Merit Scholarship, the university aims to recognize and reward exceptional talent by granting a discount of £2,000 on the cost of undergraduate or professional postgraduate programs.
The criteria to apply for the scholarship include:
- Receiving a valid, unconditional, and current offer to study in a full-time undergraduate or professional postgraduate program at LSBU, starting in September 2024 or January 2025;
- Being considered an international student;
- Being a self-funded student with no other official sponsorship;
- Choosing a course with a minimum duration of one year, taught at LSBU;
- Meeting the academic prerequisites established by the university for the scholarship grant.
For candidates applying for undergraduate programs, the prerequisite includes an AAB average at A Level or equivalent in an international qualification. All decisions are made by the LSBU scholarship panel and are final, with the discount applied at the time of enrollment.

More Criteria
According to information from the official website of London South Bank University, Brazilian students interested in preparatory courses must present a High School Certificate. To apply for an undergraduate program, the university requires one of the following options:
- Completion of a preparatory course in the UK (with a minimum average of 60%);
- International Baccalaureate (with a minimum average of 24 points);
- A Levels;
- Completion of the first year of undergraduate studies at a recognized Brazilian higher education institution.
Furthermore, those who have completed two years at a Brazilian university can apply for admission into the second year of undergraduate studies at LSBU, provided they present high grades and that the subjects already studied are relevant to the desired course.
