The Federal Government Authorized An Extra Batch Of PIS/Pasep For More Than 1.6 Million Workers Who Had Data Corrected By Employers; The Amounts, Which Reach The Minimum Wage, Can Be Withdrawn Until December 29, 2025
The federal government announced the release of an extra batch of PIS/Pasep, which will begin to be paid this Wednesday (15) for 1,640,201 workers with corrected pending issues in data submission by companies. The total amount of payment will be R$ 1.5 billion, and the amounts can be withdrawn until December 29, 2025.
The measure was made possible after the publication of Codefat/MTE Resolution No. 1,013/2025, which granted an additional deadline for employers to resend data to eSocial. The salary bonus is up to one minimum wage and benefits both private sector workers (PIS) and public servants (Pasep) who meet the eligibility criteria defined by the program.
Who Is Entitled To The Extra Batch Of PIS/Pasep
The extra batch of PIS/Pasep includes only workers who had their information submitted late or corrected by employers.

To receive the benefit, it is necessary to meet all the following requirements:
Be registered in PIS/Pasep or in CNIS for at least five years;
Have worked with a formal contract for at least 30 days in the base year 2023;
Have received up to two minimum wages per month, on average, during the period;
Have the information correctly reported in the Rais or in eSocial.
The benefit is paid annually to those who meet these requirements.
In this case, the extra release benefits those who were left out of the regular calendar due to errors or delays in data submission by companies.
How To Check If You Are Entitled To The Benefit
The consultation for the extra batch of PIS/Pasep can be made simply through the Digital Work Card app, available for Android and iOS.
After logging in with the CPF and password from gov.br, just select the ” Benefits ” tab and click on “Salary Bonus” to check if the payment has been released.
Private sector workers can also check in the Caixa Trabalhador or Caixa Tem apps, while public servants should access the Banco do Brasil website or the BB app.
These platforms provide information on date, amount, and payment method for each beneficiary.
Amounts And Calculation Of The Salary Bonus
The amount of the PIS/Pasep salary bonus is calculated based on the length of service during the base year 2023.
The worker who worked full time for all 12 months is entitled to the full amount of one minimum wage (R$ 1,518 in 2025).
For those who worked for a shorter period, the amount is proportional, calculated by the formula:
minimum wage ÷ 12 × number of months worked.
Thus, the amounts range from R$ 126.50 to R$ 1,518.00, depending on the length of service recorded during the period.
How Payments Will Be Made
Payments for the extra batch of PIS/Pasep follow the same structure as the regular calendar.
Private sector workers (PIS): receive through Caixa Econômica Federal, with automatic credit to an account, via Caixa Tem, or in-person withdrawal at ATMs, lottery houses, and Caixa branches.
Public servants (Pasep): receive through Banco do Brasil, with account credit, transfer via PIX or TED, or in-person withdrawal at branches.
In both cases, there is no need for prior scheduling, and withdrawals can be made until December 29, 2025.
Why The Extra Batch Was Created
The new batch serves workers who were left out of the original 2025 calendar due to inconsistencies in the submission of labor information.
The regularization was completed by employers by June 20, 2025, within the extraordinary timeframe provided in the Codefat resolution.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the measure aims to ensure that no eligible worker is harmed by administrative errors, reinforcing the right to the salary bonus provided by law.
Exclusion Criteria And Deadlines
Those who do not have the right to the benefit:
Domestic workers;
Rural or urban workers hired by individuals;
Employees of individuals treated as legal entities.
Individuals who meet the requirements but still do not appear on the list of qualified individuals must wait for a new update of the government systems, expected in the coming weeks.
