Get to Know the Eskada Platform
The ESKADA platform was developed by the State University of Maranhão (UEMA) in 2019, and incorporates current and innovative concepts. According to Ilka Serra, Coordinator of the Technology for Education Nucleus, the idea of renewal arose from the demand to make the certification process more extensive, involving other elements of monitoring and evaluation.
Therefore, Ilka emphasizes that in 2019, a comprehensive analysis of the entire platform of the time began, covering everything from infrastructure to content and resources available. A new, innovative, and diverse environment was found to be necessary.
In total, the platform developed by UEMA has 83 thousand students, 100 countries accessing it, 56 courses in the catalog, and more than 3 thousand activities available. The use of current concepts in the market allows for the democratization of knowledge through a lightweight, intuitive platform with relevant content.
