The Ministry of Education is offering 117 free online courses (EAD) with certificates in various fields through the AVAMEC platform – MEC’s Virtual Learning Environment. The opportunities are available across Brazil, there is no selection process and no limit on spots. According to MEC, there are already over 1 million registered users taking the free online courses (EAD). All courses provide certification at the end, which is an excellent way to generate complementary hours in college. Once approved, the student issues the certificate online.
