MEC Launches Free Online Course for Teachers and Managers. 150 Thousand Spots! Sign Up and Train in Inclusive Practices!
The Ministry of Education (MEC), in collaboration with the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), offers 150 thousand spots for the completely online (EAD) free extension course. Aimed at teachers and managers in basic education throughout Brazil, these courses seek to strengthen inclusive and anti-racist educational practices. Enrollments can be made on the websites of the 40 participating higher education institutions.
The free online course (EAD) aims to promote racial literacy and encourage pedagogical practices that respect and value ethnic-racial diversity. The training focuses on training for teachers and managers to work on fundamental topics such as Ethnic-Racial Relations (Erer) and Quilombola School Education (EEQ), aligned with the National Equity Policy (Pneerq) established by the MEC. Thus, participants will be able to apply knowledge that values cultures, traditions, and languages on various subjects.
