Mercado Livre, The E-Commerce Giant, Has An Ambitious Expansion Project And Will Open 16 Thousand Job Positions In Latin America
The e-commerce giant Mercado Livre will open job vacancies throughout Latin America, aiming to double the size of its operation in 2021. In total, there will be 16 thousand new job positions, of which 7,200 will be for Brazil. In addition, the company’s goal is to invest R$ 10 billion in the country, mainly in logistics and fintech.

The idea of Mercado Livre is to strengthen its logistics network and IT, financial services, and products areas. Currently, the e-commerce giant has 15,545 employees, and hiring 16 thousand new workers could double the operation. The biggest impact will be in logistics, where the company aims to quadruple its workforce.

Mercado Livre Offers 2500 Scholarships For A Technology Course; Secure Your Spot!
Mercado Livre and Globant offer 2500 scholarships for a technology course. The first 250 scholarships will prioritize women, non-binary individuals, black people, and former public school students.
The technology education course aims to train 10 thousand professionals in the area over two years. The goal is to provide 2500 scholarships in Latin America, with 700 of them specifically in Brazil.
Requirements: There are no income criteria for selection, applicants must be over 16 years old and have completed high school.
The cost of the first year of the course in Brazil is R$ 16,800 and, with the scholarship, the student will be able to pay R$ 840 (in installments). The selection after application involves a series of tests and interviews.
