Nexa Mining Job Openings Are for Mechanics, Electricians, Maintenance Workers, and Others in Minas and Mato Grosso do Sul

Nexa is among the top five global zinc producers, holding a leading position in Latin America and has a diversified portfolio that also includes: copper (Cu), lead (Pb), silver (Ag), and other minerals. Currently, the mining company is hiring maintenance technicians, electricians, operators, aides, analysts, mechanics, and much more. The job openings are for work on the company’s projects in the states of Mato Grosso do Sul and Minas Gerais.

Electrician III (Mine Infrastructure)

Education: Technical Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Electromechanics, or Electro-electronics
Experience in: Radio Communication System, – Leaky Feeder;
Automated Electrical Substations;
Terminations and Splices of Isolated Medium Voltage Cables.

Planning and Management Engineer – Sr

Maintenance Technician A – Mine Electrical

Technical Degree in Electrical and Electromechanics
Experience in preventive/corrective maintenance of underground mining equipment;
Intermediate Office Package (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
Knowledge of Mining Company (Desirable);
Knowledge of the SAP Maintenance Management PM system (Desirable);
Knowledge of Industrial Power Electrical Systems of Medium/Large Companies (Desirable).

Mechanic III

Mechanical Assembly and Welding Processes (Hot Maintenance);
Maintenance of Pumps and Compressors.

Operator B – Truck

Must have completed high school;
Driver’s License: D;
Availability to work rotating shifts;
Experience with truck and/or equipment operation;
Desirable experience with articulated truck A30 operation.

Maintenance Technician IV

Must have a technical degree in Mechanics or related fields.
Must have experience in the maintenance area in industrial installations and operational activities related to the Mining Industry;
Knowledge of the technique to be applied in the service provision, sufficient to execute data collection and analysis (diagnosis);
Course in Vibration Analysis I, II, III.
