The Large Japanese Multinational Modec Is Hiring Specialized Professionals for Onshore and Offshore Activities in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo

The offshore positions for Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo have been announced through MODEC’s official recruitment portal. This Wednesday, October 16, opportunities for mechanics were announced, in addition to other vacancies still open by the company on its official website. Candidates must be available to work in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. Supervision Halts FPSO Operated by Modec in the Santos Basin

Petrobras hires two new FPSOs for Marlim, and the units will be chartered with Modec and Yinson and are expected to start operations in 2022 and 2023, respectively. The units will be operated and chartered for 25 years.

Modec is in the market studying which shipyards, both national and foreign, should construct its next FPSO, which will operate in the Buzios field in the Santos basin, starting in 2021.
