MRS Logística, one of the largest railway operators in Brazil, is open for applications for the Railway Operation Apprentice Program. The initiative offers free technical training in partnership with SENAI and supervised professional practice at the company’s units in São Paulo.

The theoretical course will be held at SENAI in Suzano, while the practical part will take place at the MRS unit in Itaquaquecetuba. Applications are open until October 31 and are aimed at young people aged 18 to 23, with high school completion by December 2024.

Free Course at SENAI: Technical Foundation for the Railway Sector
The first stage of the program is the theoretical course, held at SENAI Suzano from November 3 to 19, 2025. Classes will take place in two shifts: from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 1 PM to 5 PM.
During this period, apprentices will have access to technical content related to railway operations, learning about safety standards, operational procedures, and the fundamentals of railway logistics.
This training is essential to ensure that participants are prepared to work responsibly and efficiently.
Professional Practice at MRS: Real Experience in the Daily Life of the Railway
After the theoretical course, young people will move on to professional practice at the MRS unit in Itaquaquecetuba, from November 19, 2025, to September 4, 2026.
During this phase, apprentices will shadow and assist experienced professionals in activities such as train maneuvers, brake tests, coupling and uncoupling of wagons, and cargo inspections.
All tasks are performed under supervision, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and strictly following operational standards.
The practical experience allows participants to develop technical skills and gain insight into the functioning of railway yards and terminals.

How to Participate in the MRS Logística Selection Process?
The selection process is divided into five stages:
Pre-Registration: Check if you meet the age, education, and residency requirements. Accepted cities are: Ferraz de Vasconcelos, Guarulhos, Itaquaquecetuba, Mogi das Cruzes, Poá, São Paulo (East Zone), and Suzano.
Registration (08/13 to 10/31): Register on the platform, complete the Portuguese test and the form. Keep a valid WhatsApp number for contact.
Interview: Can be online or in person, between August and September.
Psychological Evaluation and Aptitude Test: Stage held in October.
Enrollment: Final and eliminatory phase, also in October.
