Multinationals like Vale, ArcelorMittal, and Samarco Open Positions up to R$ 2,120 for Students: Will This Be Your Chance to Start in the Job Market?
Students from Espírito Santo have a chance to start a professional career in large multinationals that are offering training courses with compensation and benefits. Companies like Vale, ArcelorMittal, and Samarco have opened hundreds of positions aimed at young people and residents of the region, in programs that combine theoretical learning, practical experience in industrial operations, and scholarships that can reach R$ 2,120.
Vale
In partnership with the City Hall of Vitória, Vale announced a new edition of the Professional Training Program (PFP), which offers 112 positions in the municipalities of Vitória, Vila Velha, Cariacica, and Serra. Applications can be made until August 25.
The focus of the program is to train specialized labor to work in the sectors of mining, pelletizing, port, and railway. The training includes in-person training sessions and practical classes directly in the company’s operations, within the on the job training model. This way, participants learn in a real work environment, consolidating technical knowledge with daily experience.

The selection will be completely online, and approved participants will receive a monthly scholarship of up to R$ 2,120, in addition to benefits such as medical assistance, life insurance, meal vouchers or access to a cafeteria, and also assistance for physical activities. The training will last approximately 18 months and will be conducted by the National Service for Industrial Learning (Senai).
Candidates must be 18 years or older and have completed Regular High School or a technical course, according to the requirements of each position.

ArcelorMittal Opens 150 Positions for the Apprentice Program 2026
Another opportunity is offered by ArcelorMittal through the Apprentice Program 2026, carried out at the Tubarão unit in Serra. The initiative is a partnership with Senai and also has the support of Sine.
The program offers 150 free positions for technical courses, exclusive to young residents of the municipality of Serra. The positions are distributed across four areas:
- Mechanical: 30 positions (morning)
- Electrotechnics: 30 positions (afternoon)
- Metallurgy: 60 positions (morning and afternoon)
- Logistics: 30 positions (morning)
Selected participants will be entitled to a half of minimum wage scholarship (R$ 750), meals in the company cafeteria, and transportation vouchers.
Applications must be made through the ArcelorMittal website, in the section “Work with Us”, selecting the option “Leave Your Resume Here”. To apply, it is necessary to choose the city of Serra and then the desired course and shift. Young individuals aged 16 to 17 years, born between February 5, 2008, and February 5, 2009, can participate. Another requirement is not having previously worked as an apprentice in the same technological axis of the desired course.
Samarco Takes Training to 11 Municipalities in Espírito Santo
On the other hand, Samarco bets on decentralization and will provide free training in various cities of Espírito Santo through the Samarco Station project. By December, more than 1,000 positions will be offered in short courses, lasting between 4 and 36 hours.
Classes will be held in mobile units, which will stay in each municipality for about 15 days, with classes in the morning, afternoon, and evening. The program includes training in the areas of Aesthetics and Health, Beauty, Gastronomy, and Technology (Smart Lab).
The project will serve residents of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Anchieta, Guarapari, Rio Novo do Sul, Vargem Alta, Piúma, Dores do Rio Preto, Alegre, Jerônimo Monteiro, Guaçuí, and Muniz Freire. In Cachoeiro, applications take place at the mobile unit located in the Valão neighborhood, near the Baptist Church, or at Senac, located on Jones dos Santos Neves Avenue. In other municipalities, the application locations will be disclosed on Samarco’s and Senac-ES’s social media.
Residents aged 14 years and older, depending on the chosen course, who are currently attending or have already completed elementary or high school, can apply.
