The Contract Provides For The Supply Of Security Sensors To Improve Aviation Safety In Brazil
The French company Thales has closed a contract with the Brazilian Aerospace to Supply Aviation Security Sensors to the Brazilian Government. The contract refers to an investment of R$26.5 million, and the multinational will supply equipment that will be distributed among 20 states in Brazil.
The contract was directed by Decea (Department of Airspace Control), a department that is subordinate to the Aerospace Command and is also responsible for the Air Force station in Brazil.
The multinational’s contract with the Aerospace will provide equipment that will give information such as aircraft speed and position automatically, as a form of double-checking, bringing updates of speed ten times higher than the current aerospace equipment.
