Beyond the Joinville Factory, Others Will Also Receive Investments from Whirlpool.
Whirlpool Corporation in Brazil, a multinational in the appliance sector, announced an investment of R$ 350 million for the expansion of its factory located in Joinville, Santa Catarina.
This substantial investment, planned for the next three years, aims to meet the growing demands of consumers for innovative products and services, while also boosting job creation and solidifying the nearly 6,000 direct jobs already in place.
Whirlpool Announces Million-Dollar Investment for the Joinville Factory
The multinational is recognized for the brands Brastemp, Consul, KitchenAid, Compra Certa, and B.blend, offering a wide range of high-quality appliances.

In addition to the investment in Joinville, Whirlpool has also allocated R$ 550 million for the expansion and modernization of its factories across Brazil.
The company also announced an investment of R$ 200 million for the Rio Claro unit in São Paulo, responsible for the production of stoves, ovens, and cooktops, further expanding the company’s presence in different market segments.
Headquartered in São Paulo/SP and operating in various cities in Brazil, including Manaus, Whirlpool reaffirms its position as a strategic partner for the country’s economic growth.
In total, there are four company units in the country, in addition to four technology centers, twenty-three laboratories, three distribution centers, and around eleven thousand employees.
