The Ford Arrives in Its Fifth Generation with Many Innovations, Including an Off-Road Version and an Engine Capable of Delivering Up to 446 HP. With a Revamped Interior and Cutting-Edge Technology, the SUV Promises to Win Over Enthusiasts of Large Imports!
The Ford Expedition 2025 debuts with improvements in design, technology, and of course, power. This full-size SUV, the “brother” of the F-150 and the luxurious Lincoln Navigator, now offers even more features for those looking for a robust vehicle for family and adventure. With space for up to eight occupants and a footprint that balances comfort and performance, the Expedition is ready to surprise, whether on the roads or off them.
But the innovations don’t stop there. In addition to a respectable V6 EcoBoost engine, the new Expedition brings a special version for off-road fans: the Tremor model, with exclusive details and reinforced suspension.
Revamped Design and Off-Road Tremor Version
If the design of the Ford Expedition already drew attention, the new version has raised the bar. The front now features a LED-framed grille, dual headlights, and a redesigned bumper. The brand has managed to give the SUV a more modern look without losing its robust identity. At the rear, the taillights have been repositioned vertically, and small stylistic details have been enhanced, giving a touch of sophistication.

Mitsubishi confirms the triumphant return of a car beloved by Brazilians that was discontinued after almost 40 years, based on the Triton, 4×4, and targets rival Toyota Land Cruiser in a plan of 13 SUVs.

For adventure seekers, the Tremor version is the highlight. Focused on off-road, it features orange details, General Grabber tires measuring 33 inches, and an impressive ground clearance of 26.9 cm. Additionally, the Tremor is equipped with a skid plate, which protects the vehicle’s underside from impacts and rocks on more aggressive trails. In other words, there’s no bad weather for this SUV!
And if you want practicality, the Expedition also introduces the novelty of Ford Split Gate electric tailgates, already used in the Lincoln Navigator. This allows for more versatile access to the trunk, with the upper part opening upwards and the lower part downwards. Need to carry something heavy? No problem, the structure can support up to 227 kg.
Tech-Savvy Interior with a Giant 24-Inch Display
When it comes to the interior, the Ford Expedition does not disappoint. The brand has heavily invested in technology, featuring a giant 24-inch digital display for the instrument cluster, giving the dashboard a futuristic look. The infotainment system, in turn, now has a 13.2-inch display, slightly smaller than the previous version but still impressive.

Another positive point is the physical controls for essential items like air conditioning, something that many appreciate for its practicality. And there’s more: the center console can slide up to 20 cm, freeing up extra space between the front seats. In other words, in addition to all the interior space that the SUV offers, there are also extra compartments.
If you need even more space, the Expedition Max is the answer. This extended version grows to 5.63 meters in length and has a wheelbase of 3.34 meters, ideal for those who need a lot of space without sacrificing comfort.
Power Under the Hood: V6 EcoBoost Engine with Up to 446 HP
When it comes to power, the Ford Expedition remains a reference. Equipped with the already acclaimed V6 3.5 EcoBoost, the SUV comes in two powertrain options. In the “more relaxed” option, the engine delivers 406 HP and an impressive 66.38 kgfm of torque, combining strength and efficiency.
For those who want something more aggressive, the Tremor version takes performance to another level, delivering 446 HP and 70.51 kgfm of torque, with all-wheel drive. This engine can also be added as an option in the Platinum version.
Additionally, the Expedition features the BlueCruise ADAS driver assistance system, which allows, on some highways in the U.S., driving with hands-free operation. It is one of the most advanced driver assistance technologies from Ford, which includes adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking.
Price and Launch of the Ford Expedition 2025
The Ford Expedition 2025 is already available for order, but the first deliveries are expected in the second quarter of 2025. The starting price of the SUV is US$ 61,700 (approximately R$ 342,000), an increase of nearly US$ 6,000 compared to the previous generation.
Whether for those looking for a family car or for those wanting to venture into rough terrain, the Ford Expedition is one of the most complete SUVs on the market, with robust design, tech-savvy interior, and plenty of power under the hood. A true giant ready for any challenge!
