Neoenergia stated, in a press release for Click Petróleo e Gás, that at least 60% of all vacancies for the Electrician School, a course offered by the institution in São Paulo and the Federal District, will be reserved for women. In addition, there will be a fully female class. Overall, according to the information provided by the company, there will be 25 new classes. Furthermore, the courses are completely free and allow individuals with a high school diploma to participate, enriching their resumes. The aim is to facilitate women’s entry into the technology field.
“This is an initiative that creates job and income opportunities for those who wish to enter the electrician profession, either as freelancers or as employees of a company. In parallel, we are contributing to increasing women’s participation in this sector. For us, gender equity is a priority” states Régia Barbosa, Superintendent of Organizational Development and Culture at Neoenergia. Régia claims that the brand is pleased to announce that more than 400 women interested in the field have already graduated with the certificate provided by the institution.
What Are the Requirements?
Among the requirements to apply, candidates must have completed high school and reside in São Paulo (SP) or the Federal District (DF). Additionally, it is crucial to possess a National Driver’s License (CNH) and be over 18 years old.

In the Federal District, enrollments for the mixed class will start on June 27 and will be extended until July 8. In Gama, with the exclusive class for women, registration will also start on June 27 and go until July 8.
