Realme presents phone with 8,000 mAh battery, fast charging, military protection, and focus on long duration.
The Chinese manufacturer Realme revealed, last Friday (22), a new smartphone aimed at users who prioritize battery autonomy and physical resistance. Called Realme 16T, the device initially arrives in the Indian market with the promise of up to three days of operation after a single charge.
The model combines an 8,000 mAh battery, 45W fast charging, and certifications for protection against drops, water, and dust. Besides the focus on long duration, the device also includes features aimed at gaming, 5G connectivity, and temperature control during intense use.
Realme highlights battery as the main differential
The new device from the Chinese brand was presented with a clear focus on energy autonomy. According to the company, the large battery capacity allows for long periods of use without the need for frequent recharging.

Another announced feature is 15W reverse charging, allowing the smartphone to transfer energy to other compatible devices.
Charging and cooling features receive attention
In addition to the extended battery, the Realme 16T also incorporates technologies aimed at temperature control. Among the features presented is the Bypass Charging system.
This function allows the charger to supply power directly to the device during gaming sessions, without going through the battery. According to the manufacturer, this reduces excessive heating.
The model also features a 5300 mm² liquid cooling chamber.

Physical resistance is another focus of Realme
The company also associated the launch with the structural durability of the device. The smartphone has a MIL-STD-810H military certification, used to indicate resistance to impacts and shocks.

The smartphone uses a 6.81-inch IPS LCD screen. The 144 Hz refresh rate was included to make animations, navigation, and games visually smoother.
Another point highlighted by the manufacturer involves the display brightness, which can reach up to 1,200 nits in outdoor environments with strong lighting. The reported resolution is HD+ of 720 x 1570 pixels.
Processor prioritizes energy efficiency
Internally, the Realme 16T comes equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. According to the company, the choice of chip is linked to the balance between energy consumption and performance on 5G networks.
The model also offers options with:

- 8 GB of RAM;
- 128 GB of storage;
- 256 GB of internal storage.
The device also supports expansion via microSD card up to 2 TB.
Camera system retains Sony sensor of 50 MP
Even with a greater focus on battery and durability, the manufacturer maintained features aimed at photography.
On the back, the smartphone features a main Sony IMX852 camera of 50 megapixels, accompanied by a 2 MP auxiliary sensor. The front camera has 16 MP.

Realme starts sales in India
The Realme 16T began to be initially available in the Indian market. At this first moment, the company put only the version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage on pre-sale.
The announced price was 29,999 rupees, equivalent to approximately R$ 1,578 at the current exchange rate presented at launch. So far, the manufacturer has not disclosed an official release date for the device in the Brazilian market.
