The Japanese Nissan Confirms That Its Nissan Leaf Will Join the Car Sharing Service of Itaú Bank
The Japanese automaker Nissan announced that it intends to support the electric car sharing service of Itaú Bank. This is another step from the company in its electrification project in Brazil. The company promises to lend its Nissan Leaf, which has been in the country since 2019, to Itaú’s Vec program.

According to the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing of Nissan Brazil, Tiago Castro, the partnership with Itaú is another step in the company’s project to bring electric cars to the country.
The company started in the sector in 2012 in the country, and in 2019 expanded to the start of sales of the Nissan Leaf. He states that the best way to understand electric cars is to use them in daily life, so the company always seeks opportunities for more people to experience its electric models.

The vehicle can go from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 7.9 seconds and can reach speeds of up to 144 km/h. The 40 kWh battery gives the Nissan Leaf a range of 389 km according to the WLTP standard.
