About The Electric Car Unit And The Jobs That Will Be Created
The expectation is that the new electric car factory will generate more than 10,000 direct jobs, a number that, in the opinion of the mayor of Nova Lima, multiplies when considering indirect jobs and the entire development chain that the arrival of the company will promote in the region.
João Marcelo Dieguez says that this unit marks the beginning of a new era for the municipalities and the entire metropolitan area of Belo Horizonte. Additionally, he states that in over 320 years, it will be remembered as the day Nova Lima entered the forefront of global innovation. Decision Of Bravo Motors To Establish The New Electric Car Factory In Minas Gerais
Eduardo Javier Muñoz, CEO of Bravo Company Brazil, states that the decision to invest in the new electric car factory in Minas Gerais is closely related to the state’s positioning as a hub for attracting investments, innovation, and technology. According to him, in Minas Gerais, the company found a proactive ecosystem and much support, factors that facilitated the processes.
He explains that Brazil had already been sought after by companies in Latin America, and the state of Minas Gerais stood out for reasons such as its own automotive chain. Eduardo states that Nova Lima contributed some factors to establish the factory there, one of which is a modern and youthful city administration. The CEO of Bravo Motor says they already face the specific challenges of the industry and the market and therefore cannot have other obstacles.
