Scooter Combines Modern Engine, Competitive Fuel Consumption, and Active Safety Features, with a Technology Package That Includes ABS, Traction Control, and a Digital Dashboard, Plus a Three-Year Warranty with No Mileage Limit.
The Honda ADV 160 arrives with a clear proposal: to deliver efficiency, modern engine, and complete safety package in a scooter with an adventurous appeal.
The mechanical set of 156.9 cm³ with liquid cooling, CVT transmission, and features such as traction control (HSTC), ABS, and 100% digital dashboard supports the promise.
The warranty of 3 years with no mileage limit, with free oil in seven services, reinforces the brand’s confidence in the product.

Fiat launches the new 2027 Toro hybrid with 48V, 176 hp, an electric motor of 15.5 hp, a 0.85 kWh battery, up to 7% fuel savings, 8% fewer emissions, and possible exemption from IPVA.
Engine and Performance: 156.9 cm³ with Focus on Efficiency
At the heart of the model is the OHC single-cylinder engine of 156.9 cm³, liquid-cooled, which delivers 16 hp at 8,500 rpm and 1.46 kgf.m at 6,500 rpm.
The fuel supply through electronic injection (PGM-FI) and the compression ratio of 12:1 favor linear responses with contained consumption.
The V-Matic (CVT) transmission keeps the engine in the ideal torque range, reducing vibrations and facilitating urban driving.
Still in the efficiency field, the Idling Stop turns off the engine during stops longer than three seconds and restarts it upon acceleration, useful in traffic jams.
To enhance grip on slippery surfaces, the HSTC monitors wheel rotation and modulates traction when necessary. These are standard solutions that add safety and smoothness to daily use.
Fuel Consumption and “Range” in Practice

The promotional material circulating in the market mentions up to 40 km/l, a number that reflects consumption under favorable conditions and not a fixed range.
Homologation data released in tests show 36.5 km/l in a mixed cycle, while real-world measurements reached over 45 km/l with economical riding.
Considering the 8.0-liter tank, the ADV 160 can achieve approximately 290 km per fill-up in a homologation scenario.
This result is always subject to variations in riding style and route.
Active Safety: ABS, Lighting, and Traction Control
The braking system features ABS at the front, calibrated to prevent wheel locking in emergencies.
The presence of HSTC adds a layer of protection when starting on wet or dirty surfaces.
For visibility, the scooter features full LED lighting, along with a factory alarm.
The set meets the demands of those who ride daily in high-traffic environments and variable weather.

Dashboard and Convenience: Information in Sight and Useful Connectivity
The digital dashboard has been redesigned for quick reading and includes clock, average and instantaneous fuel consumption indicators, fuel level, odometers, and tachometer.
Ergonomics improve with the selector button in a new position.
In daily use, the Smart Key eliminates the need for a physical key and the USB-C port makes it easy to keep the phone charged.
These are items that add practicality without distracting the rider.
Suspension and Tires: Urban Proposal with Adventurous Touch
To tackle pothole-filled streets and ditches, the ADV 160 uses a Showa rear suspension with external twin reservoir (Twin Subtank) and extended travel.
The mixed-use tires help confront different surfaces.
The 14-inch front wheels and 13-inch rear wheels prioritize agility with stability, maintaining comfort on irregular asphalt and cobblestone stretches.
Warranty and Maintenance: Extended Coverage
In the after-sales service, Honda offers 3 years of warranty with no mileage limit, with free oil in seven scheduled services.

Following the maintenance plan preserves performance and contractual coverage, as well as keeping systems like ABS and HSTC calibrated.
Direct Comparisons: NMax 160 and PCX 160 under the Same Radar
Among the direct rivals, the Yamaha NMax 160 features a 155 cm³ engine with VVA (variable valve actuation), two-channel ABS, traction control, Stop & Start, Smart Key, and a 7.1-liter tank.
The reported power for the 2025 line is 15.1 hp and the torque is 1.4 kgf.m, numbers close to those of the ADV.
The technology package highlights an urban focus, with strong emphasis on connectivity and efficiency.
In the brand’s own umbrella, the Honda PCX 160 features a 160 cm³ engine with 16 hp, Idling Stop, and versions with ABS and traction control.
The 2025 line maintains the proposal of a comfortable urban scooter, digital dashboard with blackout display, Smart Key, and USB-C, as well as the same 3-year warranty as the ADV.
This equivalence facilitates the choice based on riding position, suspension, and pricing within the network.
More than absolute mechanical differences, the decision tends to come down to the type of route and the preference for a more urban or off-urban visual appeal.
Considering all this, for daily use — with frequent stops, occasional rain, and roads that are not always perfect — what weighs more in the choice: the consumption that can reach around 40 km/l under favorable conditions, the safety package with ABS and HSTC, or the suspension setup and riding posture?
