Installation of Oleoplan's biodiesel plant
Leonardo Botelho said that the installation in Pará is a great strategy, in which soy and palm are indispensable for the production of biodiesel. According to Botelho, it will be very good to be able to add value in the state from the biodiesel plant, considered a sector on the rise, in which Oleoplan achieves important results and stands out nationwide. He also points out that the company's trip to Pará will make it possible for the state, which today stands out in the North and Northeast regions in the production of palm, to also produce biodiesel, making it possible to supply this fuel even to other regions.
Manoel Ibiapina, director of Investment Attraction at Codec, says that the new biodiesel plant, in the state of Pará, will promote competitiveness, attract other investments and create new jobs. He points out that the state is the largest producer of palm oil in Brazil and says that it is very significant for attracting businesses such as biodiesel, as the raw material is located in Pará.
