Who said that car prices in Brazil cannot surprise? The new Citroën C3, besides redesigning the concept of popular cars, shakes up the market and disrupts traditional brands.

In a fierce competition of prices, the French model enters the fight for the cheapest 0 km cars in the country, surpassing favorites like Onix, Mobi, Kwid, and HB20.

Now, the C3 not only takes the lead in economy but also expands its customer base with complete and competitive versions.

This turnaround comes with unmissable discounts and seems to come at a time when the Brazilian consumer seeks more for less.

According to recent data, Citroën has adopted an aggressive strategy to win a larger audience by lowering prices across the entire C3 lineup and creating more accessibility in the popular range.

The model, which is already a sales success, now has its entry-level version Live offered for R$ 70,590.

This price, resulting from a discount of R$ 7,000, positions the C3 as the cheapest zero km car in Brazil at the moment, leaving behind heavyweight competitors.

Kwid and Mobi, known for their accessibility, have starting prices of R$ 74,590 and R$ 74,990, respectively.

Details Of Versions And Exclusive Benefits

The Live Pack version brings an even more significant discount, reaching R$ 7,300 less, with a final price of R$ 78,090.

This configuration, like the others, comes equipped with the 1.0 Firefly flex engine with 75 hp and 105 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed manual transmission.

In a higher range, there is the C3 Feel, now sold for R$ 81,690 after a reduction of R$ 6,600.

These prices make the C3 an even more attractive option for those seeking value for money in a new car.

The top-of-the-line configuration, C3 You, is the only one in the lineup equipped with a 1.0 turbo flex engine, offering 130 hp and torque of 200 Nm.

Ideal for those seeking more performance, this version offers a CVT automatic transmission with seven simulated gears and sells for R$ 96,990 after a discount of R$ 4,000.

This model delivers a complete experience, with a combination of power and economy, representing the essence of Citroën: practical and accessible vehicles.

Comparison With Major Popular Competitors

The list of the cheapest zero km popular cars of 2024 reveals the rise of the C3, which leaves behind the Kwid and the Mobi, along with other models that usually dominate the entry segment in Brazil.

Today, the chart is led by Citroën, followed by Renault Kwid (between R$ 74,590 and R$ 80,590) and Fiat Mobi (from R$ 74,990 to R$ 77,990).

Meanwhile, the Fiat Argo and the Renault Stepway, both with prices above R$ 86,990, are out of the category of the cheapest popular cars, but still remain options to be considered in the market.

For many consumers, the C3 represents more than just savings: it is an opportunity to combine technology and quality with an affordable price.

The expectation is that demand for this model will increase even more, especially in times of high demand for quality popular vehicles at prices that fit the Brazilian consumer’s budget.

Among the reasons that make the Citroën C3 one of the most desired options in the popular segment is the relationship between price and quality, in addition to an engine that provides both economy and performance.

For many Brazilians, it has become a synonym for opportunity amid an increasingly competitive market.

This model, with its different configurations and power outputs, offers something that few popular cars manage: quality in all versions and at a price that doesn’t blow the family budget.

Furthermore, the French brand seems to have understood the needs of the Brazilian market, betting on models that appeal both to the urban audience and to those who need a practical vehicle for short trips.

If the search is for a new zero km car, accessible and backed by a traditional brand, the C3 has proven to be the ideal choice for many.

The aggressive discount strategy of Citroën reconfigures the popular car market in Brazil, providing consumers with an accessible model with diverse options.

This phenomenon demonstrates how a good pricing policy can revolutionize a sector and offer Brazilians more alternatives. It remains to be seen how traditional competitors will respond to this move.

And you? Would you buy the new Citroën C3 or do you still prefer the already established models? Leave your answer in the comments!
