The new Public Competition announcement for the Penitentiary Police of Paraná has been released. There are seven vacancies and the formation of a reserve list aimed at the position of Penitentiary Police Officer of the Own Staff of the Penitentiary Police – QPPP. The expectation is to serve the agency linked to the State Secretary of Public Security.
Among the criteria for the position are a completed high school education and possession of a National Driver’s License, category B or higher, with no restrictions, in normal condition with the Traffic Department (DETRAN).
The salary for those who pass the Public Competition is R$ 4,548.97, with an additional R$ 634.74 for Food Assistance. The work shift is 40 hours per week, with the possibility of acting on a shift basis, in accordance with current legislation and the service hours of the unit of assignment.

Applications for the Public Competition for Penitentiary Police will be made online, through the site of the AOCP Institute, during the period from 9 AM on the 22nd until 11 PM on March 14th. The registration fee is R$ 110.00.
Get to Know the Exam for the Public Competition for Penitentiary Police in Paraná
The objective test will have 75 questions, of which 25 are General Knowledge and 50 are Specific Knowledge. The General Knowledge section will include 10 questions in Portuguese Language, 10 questions in Mathematical Logical Reasoning, and 5 questions in Computer Science.
The evaluation will be scored from 0 to 100 points. The candidate who meets the following criteria will be approved:
a) Correct at least 7 questions in General Knowledge, distributed as follows:
- At least 03 (three) questions in Portuguese Language;
- At least 03 (three) questions in Mathematical Logical Reasoning;
- At least 01 (one) question in Computer Science;
b) Correct at least 25 questions in Specific Knowledge;
c) Score at least 60 points in total on the Objective Test.
