New Monza Hybrid 2025 Arrives with a New Facelift
Built on the same extended platform as the Tracker, the new Monza stands out for offering a lot of onboard safety thanks to this platform, which has proven to be very resilient, as demonstrated by Latin nCap tests.
In terms of dimensions, the new Chevrolet Monza matches the current Cruze. It measures 4.64 m in length, with a shorter wheelbase of 2.64 m, and has a height of 1.79 m, weighing up to 1265 kg and offering a generous 510 L of trunk space.

BYD has just shown an electric supercar with over 1,000 horsepower that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds, faster than any Ferrari, and the battery charges from 10% to 97% in just 9 minutes, with an expected arrival in Brazil still in 2026.
The style is attractive, and the model resembles a larger Onix Plus. At the front, it features an eye-catching Black Piano grille, fake air intakes on the bumper, along with full LED headlights.
On the sides, the car offers a clean and fluid silhouette, and 16-inch wheels are available for the Top version. Moving to the rear, the new Monza has an integrated spoiler, a sporty bumper design with a Black Piano trim, as well as full LED taillights.
New Chevrolet Monza Delivers 165 Horsepower
The new Chevrolet Monza features a hybrid engine, arriving with a 1.3 three-cylinder Turbo setup, with direct fuel injection that runs solely on gasoline and is paired with a lightweight 48V hybrid system, which replaces the alternator and powers a small battery.
The new Monza Hybrid 2025 delivers 165 horsepower and 23.5 kgfm of torque, coupled with a CVT automatic transmission that simulates gears. The performance is good, but what impresses the most are the consumption averages, which can reach an excellent 21.6 km per liter in mixed conditions.
This system also effectively utilizes brake regeneration and employs start-stop technology in a way that doesn’t require turning off the air conditioning; when the car is stopped at traffic lights or similar situations, it is the electric system with the battery that powers all electrical components of the car, including climate control, meaning you won’t be left hot at stoplights.
Another simpler option is the well-known 1.2 turbo three-cylinder engine from the Tracker, which features indirect fuel injection. It delivers up to 130 horsepower, and it’s worth noting that overseas it runs solely on gasoline, providing 21 kgfm of torque. The transmission can be a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic as well.
Interior of the New Monza Hybrid 2025 Impresses
Inside the new Chevrolet Monza, there is quite a bit of hard plastic, similar to the Cruze and Equinox, but we are talking about a mid-sized car that is based on a compact platform, so it’s not reasonable to expect much more. The interior space is a significant highlight of the new Monza Hybrid 2025, accommodating five people comfortably.

In terms of equipment, it includes features such as keyless entry, digital climate control, wireless phone charging, Bose sound system, four phone charging ports, sunroof, multifunction steering wheel, and a beautiful 10-inch high-definition digital panel, among various other features. The model also has multimedia that mirrors the dashboard with 10 inches and provides wireless connectivity for Apple Carplay, Android Auto, rearview camera, and native GPS.
