The Electric Scooter Can Reduce Dependence on Cars for Daily Trips
The renowned Italian manufacturer MV Agusta, traditionally associated with motorcycles, is also embarking on the electric mobility revolution through its brand e-MV Agusta. Among the company’s recent launches, the highlight is the electric scooter Rapido Serie Oro.
Design and Urban Functionality of the New Electric Scooter
Specifically developed for short-distance urban commutes, the new electric scooter from MV Agusta is a compact solution aimed at minimizing dependence on cars for daily trips.
The striking design, characteristic of the manufacturer, features a harmonious combination of black, gold, and red colors. According to Olhar Digital, the magnesium alloy frame construction contributes to the vehicle’s lightness, weighing only 20 kg. Additionally, practicality is a priority, since the scooter is foldable, simplifying both transportation and storage.

Surprising Performance and Range
The electric motor of the Rapido Serie Oro delivers 500 W of power and is capable of handling inclines of up to 14 degrees, the manufacturer assures. Its maximum speed is electronically limited to 25 km/h, which aligns with regulations for urban electric vehicles.
The range is variable, influenced by various factors such as riding style and road conditions. e-MV Agusta estimates an average of 50 km per charge, with a full recharge taking up to six hours plugged into an outlet.
Connectivity and Accessibility
Connectivity is also a differentiator for the Rapido Serie Oro. Integrated headlights at the base and the top of the steering column, along with a rear light, provide visibility in different lighting conditions. Moreover, a dedicated app allows tracking the scooter, planning routes, monitoring charge levels, and even remotely unlocking the vehicle through a smartphone.
Stylish Yet Accessible, Different in Prices
The MV Agusta electric scooter is priced at 1,000 euros, representing an accessible option for those seeking urban electric mobility with a touch of style. However, it is worth noting that in Brazil, the price is somewhat higher due to taxes, around R$ 5,400.
Although the Rapido Serie Oro has captured the hearts of Europeans, there is still no information regarding its launch in other continents. It is important to note that the MV Agusta model does not incorporate a suspension system or special tires, being designed to optimize simplicity and practicality in urban commuting.
