Jeep Launches New SUV With 600 Km of Range and 600 Hp of Power, Accelerating From 0 to 100 Km/h in 3 Seconds to End Rivals’ Reign
Jeep will launch its first global battery electric vehicle (BEV), thus expanding its range of legendary SUV models. The brand new, 100% electric Jeep Wagoneer S, a premium model, will be sold in the U.S. starting in the fall of 2024 and later in major global markets, and it has a good chance of coming to Brazil.
The new electric SUV from Jeep, which accommodates up to seven passengers, promises to be the most sophisticated offering from the brand in the United States. Although many technical details about the Wagoneer S have yet to be revealed by Jeep, the company indicates that the vehicle will feature 4×4 traction.

The electric Wagoneer, built on Stellantis’s STLA Large platform, will feature 600 hp, promising acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds, due to its all-wheel-drive configuration and dual motors.
If confirmed, this would position the Wagoneer S ahead of the BMW iX in terms of acceleration, potentially competing with the performance of the Rivian R1S and the Tesla Model X.

The launch of the Wagoneer S fits into Jeep’s global electrification strategy, which aims to make the 4xe concept the new standard for 4×4 vehicles.
According to Jeep, the Wagoneer S will stand out for its aerodynamic efficiency, featuring a sleek and distinctive exterior design, with a reimagined front grille characteristic of Jeep, where the seven slots are highlighted by LED lighting.
Evolution in the Brand’s Design
Recently released images by Jeep reveal an evolution in the brand’s design, which, while maintaining the traditional straight lines of the body, introduces innovations such as a fully LED-illuminated front grille and more tapered headlights.

At the rear, the highlight is the taillights that extend across the entire tailgate, forming a continuous LED line. A spoiler on top adds a sporty touch to the SUV’s design.
Inside, the SUV impresses with its predominantly dark finish and a multimedia center equipped with an impressively large screen. Additionally, the premium sound system in the Wagoneer S will feature 19 speakers.
Wagoneer S Performance Could Be Comparable to the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, Which Features a 707 Hp V8 Engine.
Earlier this year, during a conference in Las Vegas, Stellantis introduced the Wagoneer S to dealers. The model made a strong impression on some former dealers, prompting them to consider a return to the market.
One of the dealers estimated that the performance of the Wagoneer S could be comparable to that of the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which features a 707 hp V8 engine.
