Under the hood, the Corolla GR-S 2024 is equipped with a 2.0L Naturally Aspirated Flex Engine that delivers up to 175 horsepower with ethanol. Even though it loses two horses compared to the previous model, Toyota assures that performance has not been affected.

On the contrary, there has been an improvement in fuel efficiency, which, let’s face it, is great for the driver’s pocket.

The vehicle’s transmission also deserves attention. It features a hybrid technology that combines physical gearing on the first gear with a CVT conical pulley, all designed for even greater fuel economy. So, is it or is it not worth applauding?

Design That Attracts The Young Audience

Another aspect that stands out is the design. It has been a while since the Corolla has ceased to be a car for a more conservative audience, and the 2024 version only reaffirms this trend.

With a more youthful appearance, the car features diamond-cut glossy black wheels and an exterior color that can vary but always maintains black details, such as the side mirrors and the spoiler.
