Blackview Shark 8, The Affordable Gaming Phone That Offers A 6,000 mAh Battery, 120 Hz Display, And Powerful Speakers For An Immersive Sound Experience. Find Out Why It Has Been Gaining Traction In 2025 As A Robust Option For Gaming And Daily Use

The gaming phone market is expanding, and in 2025, the Blackview Shark 8 stands out as an affordable option for those seeking performance, a smooth display, and powerful audio. With a robust design, long-lasting battery, and a 120 Hz refresh rate, the device draws attention for its impressive set of features, even as a budget gaming phone. But is the Shark 8 really the most “noisy” Android of the year? Below, you will find all the details about the model’s performance, autonomy, and sound power.

Affordable Gaming Phone With Good Performance And Solid Specs

The Blackview Shark 8 is a smartphone developed for the gaming audience that desires performance without spending too much. The device combines a solid mid-range configuration with advantages like a 120 Hz display, a 6,000 mAh battery, and stereo speakers. As a result, it has become a standout alternative in the affordable gaming phone segment.

According to the technical specifications published by the TudoCelular website, the Shark 8 features a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage. The brand’s goal is to offer a durable smartphone for long gaming sessions, media consumption, and social media, without sacrificing battery life or sound quality.

Blackview Shark 8’s 120 Hz Display Delivers Fluidity In Games And Social Media

One of the main attractions of the Blackview Shark 8 is its 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This feature ensures greater fluidity during gaming, scrolling through social media, and browsing websites, providing a significantly superior visual response compared to traditional 60 Hz or even 90 Hz.

For gamers of titles like PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, and Free Fire, the higher refresh rate results in smoother movements and less of a lagging graphical experience. Additionally, the display boasts Full HD+ resolution (2460 x 1080 pixels), providing sharp images and well-calibrated colors for the mid-range category.

The presence of 120 Hz in an affordable gaming phone reinforces the Shark 8’s aim to deliver satisfactory performance for those unwilling to spend large sums on high-end smartphones.

6,000 mAh Battery Guarantees Extended Autonomy In The Affordable Gaming Phone

Another highlight is the robust 6,000 mAh battery, one of the major differentiators of the Blackview Shark 8. This component ensures prolonged autonomy, allowing for intensive use throughout the day without the need for frequent recharges.

Practical tests indicate that the battery can last up to two days with moderate use, including social media, browsing, and video consumption. The 33 W fast charging is also a positive aspect, allowing a good portion of the charge to be recovered in just over an hour.

The combination of the 6,000 mAh battery with efficient charging positions the Shark 8 as one of the most attractive smartphones for those who prioritize autonomy.

Powerful Speaker And Stereo Sound: The Blackview Shark 8 Delivers Immersive Audio

In terms of audio, the Blackview Shark 8 does not disappoint. The model features a stereo speaker system, something rare in phones of this price range. The intention is to provide an immersive experience for both gaming and media consumption.

User reports and reviews from specialized websites indicate that the Shark 8 has one of the loudest sounds among mid-range smartphones. The volume is high, without severe distortions, and the stereo separation is efficient, enhancing immersion during multiplayer games.

For those seeking an affordable gaming phone with powerful sound, the Shark 8 stands out as one of the best options, even rivaling more expensive models in sound performance. Its superior volume, coupled with stereo quality, upholds its unofficial title as the “loudest Android” of 2025 among devices in its category.

The Helio G99 processor from MediaTek is a mid-range chip optimized for energy efficiency and good performance in popular games. Paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the Blackview Shark 8 can run most mobile games at medium to high quality without lag.

The virtual RAM expansion feature allows for an additional 8 GB, totaling 16 GB for multitasking management. This benefits those who use the phone for work, study, and gaming simultaneously, without experiencing system slowdowns.

In benchmarks like AnTuTu, the Helio G99 usually scores close to 400,000 points, sufficient for fluid use in everyday apps and less demanding gaming titles.

Robust And Gaming Design: Blackview Shark 8 Bets On Style And Durability

Despite being an affordable gaming phone, the Blackview Shark 8 features an eye-catching design, with a robust look and a back with geometric elements inspired by gaming style. The plastic finish is well built, resistant to light falls, and offers good color options on the market.

The device is relatively heavy at 198 grams, which is justified by the large battery. The ergonomic grip is enhanced by a slight rear curvature and flat sides, providing comfort during long use sessions.

The side fingerprint sensor and facial unlock complement the model’s usability package.

Versatile Cameras On The Blackview Shark 8: Balance For Daily Use

Even though it is geared towards gaming, the Blackview Shark 8 features a triple camera set led by the main Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor with 64 MP. The set is completed by a 2 MP depth lens and a 13 MP front camera.

Photos taken in well-lit environments have good definition and balanced colors, although performance in dark locations is just average, which is common in its category. The phone offers photography modes such as panorama, night mode, and AI filters.

The Shark 8’s focus is not on competing with flagships in photography but to deliver enough versatility for social media, video calls, and occasional captures.

Extra Features Of The Affordable Gaming Phone: Connectivity, NFC, And Android 13

The Blackview Shark 8 offers complete connectivity for the mid-range standard: support for 4G networks, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a P2 headphone jack, and a USB-C port. The absence of 5G is understandable given its focus on cost-effectiveness.

Among the extra features, the device offers NFC support for contactless payments, FM radio, and DokeOS 4.0 based on Android 13, with a lightweight interface and few pre-installed apps.
