Scope of Opportunities at Oceânica
Currently, the company has 258 open positions, ranging from roles such as marine cook, marine engineer, ROV operator, to managerial positions like ROV supervisor, senior technician, engine room officer, bosun, administrative assistant and human resources analyst.
The opportunities are available for both offshore platform work and onshore, at the four company bases located in Barra da Tijuca, Macaé, Rio das Ostras, and Niterói. The expectation is that by the end of 2024 more than 250 job opportunities will be opened in the organization. ‘We are developing new projects scheduled to start this year, in addition to the ongoing contracts, which will result in a large number of hires in the coming months.
Highlight on the Director of People and Management at Oceânica
Following the evolution of its employees, the company invested in the first ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) in 2019 and now has 40 of these high-tech equipment for observation, inspection, and intervention at depths of up to 3,000 meters.
In addition to human and material resources, the revenue is also continuously growing: it increased from R$ 225 million in 2018 to over R$ 1 billion in 2023.
