Starting in 2027, all new cars sold will be able to track the driver’s eyes 60 times per second with infrared cameras to detect intoxication, turning the purchase of a new car into the automatic acceptance of a biometric surveillance system that the NHTSA itself admitted has an error rate considered unacceptable.
