Arriving in the Brazilian market as one of Toyota’s most affordable SUVs globally, the Toyota Taisor mini SUV has great chances of being a sales success, even surpassing the Yaris Cross. Developed in partnership with Suzuki for emerging markets, the new Taisor SUV is a mini SUV that shares a platform with the Suzuki Fronx. With its modern design and competitive price, the Taisor promises to win over a wide range of consumers and stand out as a popular option in the compact SUV segment.

Its dimensions are, in total, 4 m in length, 2.52 m in wheelbase, 1.76 m in width, and 1.55 m in height. The trunk holds up to 300 L and the Toyota mini SUV weighs a light 1,060 kg.
In appearance, the Yaris Cross rival is quite pleasing, with a front featuring a grille in Black Piano, a gray insert at the base of the bumper, and full LED headlights divided with daytime running lights above and main lights below.

It produces up to 100 horsepower and 17.2 kgfm of torque, paired with a transmission that can be a six-speed automatic with a torque converter or manual, also with six speeds. In this case, the performance is much better and the fuel consumption averages are good.
Moving to the interior, the new Toyota Taisor SUV follows what is already seen in the competition and does not surprise in any way. The finish is made of hard plastic all around and deserves a better touch. The interior space is cramped and here only four adults will fit comfortably.
The equipment list for an entry-level segment, which is where it competes, offers interesting items such as keyless entry, head-up display, remote start, digital climate control, and a dashboard with a 4-inch LCD screen instead of digital like most of its competitors. The multimedia center comes with a nice 8-inch screen and includes a 360° camera system, integrated GPS, as well as connectivity for wireless Carplay and Android Auto.
How Much Will The New Rival Of The Yaris Cross Cost
Speaking of safety, as a model that is indeed affordable in various markets, the new mini SUV from Toyota doesn’t impress in this regard. In terms of driving aids, we have only collision warning with emergency braking.
Moreover, the car features front disc brakes with ABS and rear drum brakes, hill-start assist, traction and stability controls, six airbags, three-point seatbelts, and headrests for all. It lacks features that some direct rivals already offer, such as ACC with stop and go function available in the Kardian and lane-keeping assist that the Pulse already includes.
However, it’s worth noting that the new Toyota Taisor SUV is a significantly cheaper car, making it somewhat acceptable to overlook these omissions. In India, it costs approximately R$ 75,000 for the entry-level versions and does not even reach R$ 100,000 for the top configurations.

Se eu fosse presidente desse país proibiria esses ” lançamentos ” exagerados. É tudo carro parecido e com plataforma de carros já existentes. Tudo pra enganar o ****, **** do brasileiro que gosta de novidade.

Concorrente interno é totalmente equivocado, ou a reportagem está errada ou a Toyota está fazendo marketing de psicologia reversa.
