A new list released by Uber Brazil revealed the most forgotten objects by passengers during trips made last year in the country.
The annual survey shows that Brazilians continue to leave behind common items such as cell phones, wallets, keys, and backpacks.
The list also included curious, funny, and hard-to-imagine objects forgotten inside a car.

Uber’s annual list showed that haste, distraction, and a busy routine continue to influence passengers.
Although cell phones and keys are among the most common items, some forgetfulness stood out due to their size and peculiarity.
Passengers left behind a carton with 60 eggs, three whole watermelons, and even a 50-liter keg of draft beer.
Home appliances like blenders, electric coffee makers, and air fryers were also left in vehicles after rides.
These cases show that the size of the object does not always prevent forgetfulness at the time of disembarkation.
Items of sentimental value also appeared on the list
Uber also recorded objects with strong personal and family value.
One of the most curious cases was a rooster’s foot belonging to a passenger’s grandmother.
The Labubus, which gained popularity last year, also appeared among the items forgotten during trips.
In the health area, the list included hearing aids, the lower part of a denture, and a recently fallen human tooth.
In the animal world, a dog vaccination card ended up being left inside a car.
Professionals, musicians, and athletes also made the ranking

Among musicians and athletes, Uber recorded two berimbaus and trophies for karate and “king of the beach”.
There was also the case of a single domino piece forgotten in the car, specifically the six and three, known as 6 and 3.

Despite the unusual items, the most forgotten objects remain those of daily use.
According to Uber Brazil, the main items left by passengers were:

The survey also showed patterns throughout the week.
On Saturdays, cakes appear more frequently among forgotten items.
On Sundays, sneakers stood out.
On Tuesdays and Fridays, the umbrella led the losses.
Brazilian cities with the most forgotten items during trips
Uber also pointed out the cities where, proportionally, users forgot belongings the most during trips.
The ranking drew attention due to the presence of four cities from Goiás.

The data reinforces the alert for passengers to check seats, trunks, and pockets before leaving the vehicle.
How to recover an item forgotten on an Uber trip
Uber Brazil advises that the recovery request be made directly through the app.
First, the passenger should open the app and tap on Activity.
Then, they need to select the trip where the item was forgotten.
Next, they should tap on Find lost item.
After that, it is necessary to choose the option Contact driver about a lost item.
The user should inform which item was forgotten and where in the car it was likely left.
It is also necessary to enter a contact phone number.
If the driver confirms they found the item, the parties arrange a location and time for the return.
If the lost item was the phone itself, the guidance is to access Uber’s help center and look for the lost item option.
The company emphasizes that the responsibility for keeping belongings safe during the trip is the user’s.
However, when the item is found, there may be a return fee charge.
This amount serves to reimburse the partner driver’s travel and is passed on to them in full.
