With an investment exceeding R$ 680 million, the new factory will have an annual capacity to produce 40,000 tons of Lactose Infant Formula, 12,000 tons of Whey Protein, and 6,000 tons of butter, doubling the company’s current production capacity.
Economic Impact and Job Creation
According to the state government, the establishment of this industrial unit represents a significant milestone for Francisco Beltrão. According to the company, 350 direct jobs and 1,650 indirect jobs will be created, totaling 2,000 new job opportunities.
The complex will be built on an area of 340,000 square meters, with completion expected in 24 months.
National Production of Infant Formula
Currently, the Brazilian market for infant formulas is predominantly supplied by imported products.
With the new plant, Sooro Renner aims to produce Lactose Infant Formula in Brazil, adhering to strict control standards, positioning itself as one of the most modern factories in the sector in Latin America.

Expansion in the Sports Nutrition Market
In addition to producing infant formulas, the company will expand its production capacity of Whey Protein Concentrate, addressing the growing demand from sports nutrition and fitness markets.
The inclusion of butter production in the company’s portfolio is also noteworthy, resulting from the acquisition of Concen Lácteos, one of the largest manufacturers of the product in the country.
Strategic Choice of Sooro Renner in Francisco Beltrão
The decision to install the new unit in Francisco Beltrão was strategic.
The city is located between the other two plants of the group, in Western Paraná and Northwestern Rio Grande do Sul, and sits in the heart of one of Brazil’s largest dairy production regions.
Moreover, the inclusion of Southwestern Paraná in the new state highway concession anticipates significant investments in duplications and access improvements, facilitating logistics and the flow of production.
Future Perspectives
This is the second major investment by Sooro Renner in Paraná.
The company’s plant in Marechal Cândido Rondon was inaugurated in 2021, following an investment of R$ 120 million for the production of non-caking permeate.
With the new unit in Francisco Beltrão, the company reinforces its commitment to the economic development of the state and plans to invest over R$ 1 billion in Paraná by 2027.
Regional Development and Productive Chain with The New Factory
Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior highlighted the importance of the investment for the region: “Sooro Renner is one of the world leaders in the production of these derivatives and, once again, chose Paraná to set up its industry.
This generates local income and boosts the job market. Additionally, this plant will stimulate the entire family agriculture chain of milk production, promoting development for the entire Southwestern region.”
The establishment of Sooro Renner’s new factory in Francisco Beltrão represents a significant advancement for the dairy industry in Brazil, strengthening both the local and national economies.
With robust investments and a focus on high-value-added products, the company consolidates its leadership position in the market and contributes to the sustainable development of the region.
